Who I work with

Most people who book me have had massages before and still feel tight. They’re looking for something more detailed.

  • Long-standing tension — necks and shoulders that never quite settle, recurring lower back tightness
  • Restricted movement — hips, shoulders or backs that feel stiff rather than sore
  • Active people — recovery between training, mobility work, tightness that keeps returning to the same place
  • Travel and desk tension — long-haul flights, long days, long hours at a screen

My approach

I work slowly and specifically. Sessions start with a conversation about what’s bothering you and how it behaves — when it’s worse, what eases it. From there I work largely by feel, finding the tissue that’s actually restricted rather than only the area that hurts. The two are often in different places, which is why treating the sore spot alone tends to give short-lived relief.

Most of my work involves fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and links muscles. When it loses mobility, the result is often felt as tightness or restriction rather than pain, and it frequently shows up somewhere other than where it started.

Treatments run 60 to 120 minutes because this work takes time. Many clients report improved movement and reduced tightness afterwards. Some soreness for a day or two after deeper work is normal.

Treatments

Deep Tissue Massage — Sustained, specific pressure through the deeper layers of muscle. For chronic tightness, recurring tension and areas that haven’t responded to lighter work.

Sports & Remedial Massage — Recovery, mobility and maintenance for people who train. Useful between sessions, after events, or when the same area keeps tightening up.

Myofascial Release — Slower, sustained work with the connective tissue around muscles. For restriction, stiffness and movement that feels limited rather than painful.
